Cube is a singleplayer and multiplayer first person shooter that provides satisfying and fast oldskool gameplay. This opensource game is built on an entirely new and very unconventional engine. Cube is a landscape-style engine that pretends to be an indoor FPS engine, which combines very high precision dynamic occlusion culling with a form of geometric mipmapping on the whole world for dynamic LOD for configurable fps & graphic detail. Most of the engine design is targeted at reaching feature richness through simplicity of structure and brute force, rather than finely tuned complexity. ?
For those of you who love FPS, you’ll love Cube. This game is one of the best FPS I have ever seen on the iPhone. There’s over 5 guns, 20 maps, and over 50 different enemies to destroy. Though there has been a few frame rate drops, I think that Cube will be a great game to play on any occasion.

Cooliris has been in the App Store for a little over a week now. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to use it until now, so please bare with me. So Colliris is a free app with is basically a supplement for the iPhone browser. It allows you to view the web as a 3D window! Amazing isn’t it. It’s not very limited since you can search in Flickr, YouTube, Kodack, Amazon, Photobucket, Picasa, DeviantArt, Smugmug, MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Hi5, Friendster, Google Images, Yahoo, Smugmug, and DeviantArt and of course Google searches. But then again, I only use Google, so who am I to talk. The app also uses the GPS to locate latest news for your location. Come on try it, it’s just mind blowing.
